OWNERS ARE NOT FORCED BY THE STANDARD TO HAVE THE LIFT REPAIRED

In the European Union there are 3 million lifts, about 70 percent of them do not comply with new technical standards. It means that lift safety issues are addressed in other countries as well. There is no regulation forcing lift operators, usually the block administrator or flat union or flat owners community, to have the faults removed at the owners’ expense.
